Description - A beautiful handmade solid opal Ring, we believe it dates to the 1960''s / 70's.

Stamped for 9ct gold & tests as such, genuine as described.

Handcrafted in solid 9ct yellow gold, the ring has a 3.2mm wide flat shank, and a rub-over centre bezel with wrap around square gold wire shoulders.

The head is set with a 13.5mm x 8.1mm x 2.9mm deep approx 1.80 carat oval cabochon cut solid opal.

The opal has a light base with moderate intensity blue, green and orange colours in a mossy pattern.

The colours are so pretty in the opal, always hard to capture the intensity of the different shades when photographing opals , they are a little bit tricky.

A  gorgeous ring on the hand, the design really allows the opal to shine.
