Description - An elegant pair of Antique hand made drop earrings dating to the late Victorian period.

Crafted in 9ct yellow gold, they do have a very light rose hue. The earrings are designed with engraved arched supports decorated in orange blossom, which was a highly popular bridal motif of the late 19th century.

A symbol of Purity, , marriage & new beginnings.

The lower circular domed sections are bordered with uniformly sized synthetic seed pearls, typical of commercial yet finely executed Victorian gold work.

The earrings are fitted with original front fastening ear wires, consistent with the period & display attractive engraved detail and pleasing movement when worn.

The design is formed as as delicate wedding bells suspended beneath the engraved stirrup arches .

These earrings have been beautifully handcrafted & are a delightful example of Victorian sentiment , feminine & deeply evocative of their time.

These earrings were valued in November 2022 for $1,600
