Description - This a a very sweet Edwardian Brooch, Assayed in Chester in 1906- 1907.

Pieces assayed in Chester have become highly collectable as the Assay office closed its doors in 1962.

Such a pretty brooch crafted in 9ct solid yellow gold, designed as two hearts sitting side by side joined at the centre with a love bird.

Each heart has  hand engraved detail & raised flowers with foliage.

On the verso is a steel pin with 9ct gold fixtures, .

The hallmarks & makers mark are also on the bottom of the hearts. unfortunately I'm unable to decipher the makers marks.

Brooches have become very fashionable again which is wonderful, personally I love them, they have never gone out of fashion with me.

The Beautiful Edwardian brooch measures 20mm wide x 15mm., & weighs 2.48 grams.

This lovely Edwardian treasure is full of old world charm & romance.
