Description - A Superbly handcrafted antique brooch, featuring highly skilled craftsmanship & 1.72 carat of bright fiery old mine cut & rose cut natural diamonds. We believe this piece to have been made late 1890's - 1902

This beautiful brooch has a handmade sterling silver top plate & frame with gold frame & pin on the verso.

The top section is in the shape of a flower cluster set in the centre with a .20 carat  old mine cut surrounded by nine old mine cuts with a diamond weight of - 0.297ct

The larger cluster at the centre has an old mine cut diamond -0.32 carat measuring 4.80mm x 4.50mm x 2.27mm

This gorgeous diamond is surrounded by -eleven rose cut diamonds approx 0.11 carat.

The Fleur-di-lis at the bottom  has a 0.16 carat old mine cut at its centre with a further eight old rose cuts surrounding it. 

The brooch displays an arch like structure all which is set with all old mine cuts & old rose cuts.

To the verso is a good strong pin with a secure clasp .

Absolutely exquisite antique piece, every diamond has been hand cut so no two are identical & the design & setting has been beautifully made by an incredibly talented gold / silversmith.

Brooches have become very popular again which is lovely to see & this particular one is so full of exquisite fiery old diamonds that I'm sure you can see the sparkle from quite a distance.

A wonderful piece of jewellery history which would make an exceptional family heirloom.
