Description - A wonderful handmade 18ct yellow gold opal & rose cut diamond ring, assayed in Birmingham in 1900, the assay marks are still lovely & crisp.

Handcrafted in 18ct solid yellow gold, which has that wonderful rich buttery hue.

The head of the ring features four lovely clear Rose cut diamonds, Colour G-I, Clarity VS-SI & one gorgeous cabochon cut solid opal displaying rolling colours predominantly green.

The rose cut diamonds measure two at 3.33mm & two at 4.00mm approx total diamond weight 0.30 carat.

The diamonds are all grain set within a channel, the ring features a ridged style shank / band.

The head of the ring measures 7mm graduating down to 2.92mm rear shank.

One of the smaller diamonds at the end of the setting is chipped can be seen with magnification, this does not distract from the beauty of the ring or usability & I have taken this into consideration when pricing this antique ring.

A wonderful antique ring, beautifully handcrafted, & quite solid at 4.52 grams.
