Description - Such a pretty antique brooch, Circa 1900, it was assayed in Birmingham for 9ct Gold unfortunately the date letter is partially covered. Hallmarks on on the verso.

The brooch measures 44mm approx in length & 10mm at the centre, crafted in solid 9ct .

The face of the brooch has a pink/rose gold horseshoe in the centre with hand engraved details & raised green gold leaves surrounding. 

On either side of the horseshoe are hand engraved foliage also raised green gold leaves .

All the edges of the brooch are softly scalloped framing the hand engraved details beautifully.

At the rear is an early C Clasp with a strong steel pin which closes securely.

A gorgeous antique brooch in beautiful condition the coloured gold & hand engraved detailing has been completed by a highly skilled goldsmith.
