Description - A lovely dainty Antique Bangle in 9ct Rose Gold, featuring interlocking Hearts & beautiful Half Seed Pearls.
We believe this to be from the Early Edwardian period, it is marked for 9ct gold but the other marks are worn & unreadable .
The bangle is oval in shape, & the face has interlocking hearts which are pavé set with half seed pearls & tapered shoulders which are also set with half seed pearls. There are a total of 27 pearls which a silver grey with blue & pink overtones, and most have good to excellent complexion & lustre. All appear original to the piece.
The face of the bangle measures 10.66mm at the hearts tapering down to 5.36mm at the shoulders & 2.95mm approx at the rear. The bangle is hinged & of hollow construction which has been cast & hand assembled.
The bangle has a hidden push in clasp & has a safety chain for added security.
The internal diameter closed is 56mm & it opens out to approx 75mm, being oval in shape it is quite easy to get on & off & comfortable on the wrist..
There has been a small repair to the inside of the bangle at one side of the heart, noted for accuracy.
This is a beautiful dainty antique bangle, which looks lovely on the arm, it exudes old world charm & romance.
