Description - A wonderful antique swivel fob, crafted in 9ct rose gold & assayed n Birmingham in 1895.

I love this fob it is shaped as a brick fire place with the head of a lion at each end of the mantle ( like bookends ) with a blank cartouche shield in the centre & the bloodstone swivel at the centre of the fire place.

One side of the bloodstone has a fine scratch, & the shield has a a couple of very fine dents it does not take away from the look or wearability of this wonderful antique piece.

The band framing the bloodstone has the remnants of hallmarks for 9ct gold Birmingham & date letter for 1895.

It is also hallmarked on the bale & up under the fire place.

This is such a gorgeous antique fob, looks excellent with a chain worn as a pendant , the sale is for the swivel fob only the chain is for display purposes only .

The swivel fob measures 37mm from the bale to the bottom & is 35mm at the widest point, and weighs 5 grams.
