Description - Absolutely beautiful Antique 9ct Yellow Gold, Opal Doublet Pendant / Brooch Locket.

The valuation is dated 19th / August / 2020 Antique pieces & gold have increased significantly in the past 5 years.

Crafted in 9ct yellow gold brooch with a drop pendant , the brooch is bar style with hand engraving and a floral decoration.

Hanging from the bar is a 19mm diameter pendant with a central window and hinged back cover.

A 12mm round opal doublet is encased behind the window & is removable .

The opal doublet has intense blue, green and red colours in a blocky pattern, it is absolutely stunning.

Around the window is set with twenty two 2.3mm half seed pearls.

A decorative top piece at the hanger is set with four 2.0mm half seed pearls.

The top bar brooch is easily removed from the opal pendant locket & can easily be worn with a chain.

A truly stunning antique piece, in wonderful condition.

Combined Weight - 5.48 grams without opal - 4.86 grams

Hallmarked - 9ct on both pieces.
