Description - A Very impressive Full Hunter Pocket Watch by the Renowned Watch Maker " Seth Thomas "

The case is by " Dauber " fully stamped on inner dust jacket & cover," Guaranteed to be made of two plates of 10 karat gold over fine hard metal"

The outer covers are in fantastic condition, beautifully etched & hand engraved  scrolls , & flowers, foliage with a machined design finish. The inside dust jacket is in plain smooth gold

The whole outer edge of the pocket watch has a gorgeous raised scrolled design, all hand engraved, these antique pocket watches were beautifully made quite an expensive piece in 1901, generally used by the upper echelon of society.

The mechanism has " Seth Thomas " serial no 197456

The face of the watch is in porcelain it does have some very fine crazing, viewing through a loupe, this does not affect the look or functionality of this timepiece. Ive also factored this into my pricing.

White porcelain face with roman numerals in black , black metal hands finished in royal blue enamel.

The watch is in running condition it needs to be wound gently on a daily basis & we suggest having it serviced every two years .

The full hunter is 40mm in diameter & measures from top of bow  to bottom edge is 55mm approx.

A lovely size Full Hunter these look absolutely stunning on a chunky chain & a wonderful piece to add to a collection or maybe to start one with.

This pocket watch is in wonderful condition the 10 carat gold plating is in fantastic condition, no scotches to the glass only some very fine crazing to the ceramic face. Fabulous considering its 125 years old.
