Description - A Superb ring assayed in Chester in 1931,  I also have the Bracelet that came with this ring, which was originally made in Egypt & the Ring made later to compliment to compliment it.

The ring was handmade & cast in 9ct solid rose gold, the centre is bezel four claw set with a rather large Synthetic Colour change Sapphire 14.15mm approx 12.90 carat.

Gorgeous deep rich purple , but as it catches the light it has a beautiful pink & blue hue, a spectacular synthetic sapphire..

Surrounding the sapphire is a halo of rose gold & a triangular cut away design on the underside of the mount.

The band / shank measures 3.53mm wide by 1.31mm deep., the head of the ring is 19.52 so it is quite a substantial setting a good solid ring.

A fabulous ring, made in 1931 during the deco era, quite a glamorous showy piece, excellent finger coverage , for the lady who appreciates antique pieces that are that little bit different.
